After tip-toeing through various fields of study and professions over the years, I discovered my true passion in 2022: lighting and set design for live entertainment. This led me to pursue formal training, which led to my graduation from Humber College's Theatre Arts Technical Production program in May 2024. As I begin my professional journey as a lighting and set designer, I am excited to share a collection of my work, including academic projects completed during my time at Humber. This section serves as a portfolio of my evolving skills and creativity, showcasing my growth and commitment to the art of live performance design.
Below is a list of credits for the shows I have worked on to date. For the shows where I served as an assistant lighting designer, although I have pictures from these productions, I do not feel it is necessary to upload them. As an assistant to Nick Blais (nblaisdesign.com) my role was primarily focused on ensuring that all paperwork was in order, even though I gained valuable insights into the design process through my collaboration with him. For the projects where I worked as both a designer and photographer, I have included images for reference, as I want to highlight my photography skills and demonstrate that I can capture great images too.
The album titled Various Shows serves as proof of images taken during my time as a production operator with the City of Mississauga. In this role, I served as a lighting board operator and occasionally as a designer. While I was primarily responsible for ensuring that the client's lighting needs were met, I did not make creative decisions regarding the design. However, there was one show during my time with the City where I was given the opportunity to operate the board while also making creative decisions. This experience marked one of my first design projects. For this particular show, I have uploaded images into a separate album titled Tribute to Queen.
The album titled Vultures is my final year academic design project, where I was tasked with designing the set, lighting and the costumes for the play Vultures. Please click on the albums below to view more details.
