During my time as a production operator with the City of Mississauga, I had the incredible opportunity to light a rock concert performed by Yvan Pedneault and his band, who paid tribute to one of my favourite bands of all time, Queen. Needless to say, I had an absolute blast pushing bump buttons and chasing the music with the lights. This private concert took place at the Meadowvale Theatre in Mississauga. I used the house plot of the theatre but altered the positions of all the booms on the stage to suit my preferences, ensuring that all the musicians were well-lit. This marked my first-ever rock concert, and it definitely won't be my last. Metallica, here I come!
